The EDI Log is your central hub for monitoring the status of EDI transactions with your customers. It provides visibility into all transactions flowing between Kojo and your ERP for our mutual customers, enabling you to manage and troubleshoot efficiently.
How It Works
Once an EDI integration is activated with your customers (as listed in the “Customers” menu), all transactions exchanged between Kojo and your vendors will appear on this page.
You can refine the displayed transactions using the Advanced Filters option at the top of the page. This allows you to sort transactions by:
-
Customer
-
Transaction type
-
Date Range
-
Transaction outcome (status)
Types of EDI Transactions Displayed
The EDI Log supports various transaction types, including:
-
EDI 810 - Invoices
-
EDI 840 - Request For Quote (RFQ)
-
EDI 843 - Quote
-
EDI 850 - Purchase Orders
-
EDI 855 - Purchase Order Acknowledgements
Transaction Outcomes
Each transaction on the log will display one of the following outcomes:
-
Failed
Indicates an error that prevents successful processing. To identify the cause, hover over the small gray "!" icon next to the transaction. Common error messages include:
-
Order Not Found – Typically seen with EDI 843 or 855 transactions, this error occurs when the vendor’s PO number does not match the corresponding PO number in Kojo.
-
-
Pending
The transaction has been sent, and Kojo is waiting for confirmation that it was received.
-
Success
The transaction was successfully sent or received by Kojo.
Additional Features
-
Download EDI Files - You can download the raw EDI file for any transaction directly from this page. This is useful for auditing or sharing with your team if troubleshooting is required.
By using the EDI Log, you can effectively track, manage, and troubleshoot your EDI transactions, ensuring smooth communication between Kojo and your ERP.
